Borovo along with Kormisosh is the most popular area in the
Rhodope Mountains. It lies in the Western Rhodopes and has the surface of 15.200 ha. The typical terrain is mountainous and it is rugged and uneven in some parts. The average elevation above sea level is approximately 1.300 m. Deciduous and coniferous forests cover 95% of the whole territory.
The hunting for red deer, wild boar, chamois, bear, capercaillie, roe deer, predators is very successful.
Borovo has one hunting lodge with 6 double rooms and 1 apartment available. Each room has shower/WC. The service is unexceptionable.
